The celestial archive hangs above a storm-locked valley, its great gears slowing under a creeping black-iron decay. You are the Last Warden. Six halls stand between you and the Core Beacon.
Movement & Combat. Walk with WASD or arrows — your steps grind on bronze, clank on the Archive grates, and splash in the flooded Vault. Strike with J / Space: a sweeping arc in the direction you face. Orange sparks mean a clean hit.
Health. Each heart container holds exactly 2 HP. You begin with three containers (6 HP) and may reach five (10 HP). Nothing regenerates on its own — rest at a Sanctuary Stone, or drink a Vital Stem.
Weapon Altars. Two altars exist. The Collapsed Gallery holds the Ignited Edge; the Twin Spire holds the Solar Falchion. There is no third form.
The Aether Shard. A crystalline launcher sealed in the Sunken Vault, halfway through your vigil. It strikes distant crystal switches, shatters weak barriers, and lets you fight at range. Restock charges at the merchant once the Vault is behind you.
Cracks. Hairline fractures and darker discoloration mark breakable masonry. The base blade chips it slowly; the Solar Falchion and Aether bolts break it fast. The Phantom Lantern makes every crack glow.
Sanctuary Stones. Three, and only three: the Threshold gate, the heart of the Archives, and the foot of the Twin Spire. Resting restores all HP and records your progress.
"Bronze remembers every coin, Warden. Spend well."
Your cloak settles into rust. But a Sanctuary Stone still holds your name.
